Last updated: 20 March 2026
1. Who we are
Adapt By Design Pty Ltd (ACN 161 032 588), trading as Adapt ("us", "we", "our" or the "Company"). This Cookie Notice explains how we use cookies and similar technologies on www.theadaptway.com and our related sites and apps.
In Australia, we provide clear notice at or before collection and explain how tracking technologies operate in a way users would reasonably expect. This notice should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
2. What are Cookies?
A cookie is a small file with information that your browser stores on your device.
Cookies are small files with information that your browser stores on your device to make websites work, improve performance, and provide analytics and advertising features.
Information in this file is typically shared with the owner of the site in addition to potential partners and third parties to that business. Similar technologies include pixels, tags, SDKs, local storage and device identifiers used to measure interactions and improve our services and your experience on our site.
3. How we use Cookies?
To give you the best experience possible, we use the following types of cookies:
- Strictly Necessary. These are required for core site functions (e.g., security, session management, load balancing). These run by default.
- Functionality: Some cookies are used to personalise content and present you with a tailored experience. For example, location could be used to give you services and offers in your area.
- Performance/analytics. We collect analytics about the types of people who visit our site to improve our service and product.
- Advertising/marketing: We use technologies such as pixel tags in some emails and push notifications which enable us to understand whether you have opened the email and how you have interacted with it.
4. Your choices
On your first visit (and periodically), we display a banner. Use “Accept all”, “Reject non-essential”, or “Manage settings” to choose categories.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer.
a) Manage cookies in your browser
You can control cookies (and similar technologies) through your browser settings. Most browsers let you:
- View: which cookies/technologies have been set on your device
- Block: some or all cookies/technologies
- Delete: cookies/technologies already stored
Important: If you delete or block cookies, any preferences you’ve set on our site (including your cookie choices) may be lost and some features may not work as intended. If you previously accepted certain categories and later change your mind, you’ll need to remove any third-party cookies set during earlier visits and update your preferences.

5. Third party partners
We may allow selected partners (e.g., analytics, advertising, email/CRM) to set cookies/pixels to help us measure and improve our services. These providers have their own privacy notices and may process your data in other countries (See: International Transfers in our Privacy Policy).
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use our website so we can improve performance and content. Google Analytics uses first-party cookies to measure interactions (for example, pages viewed, links clicked and time on page). We receive these insights in aggregate and do not use Google Analytics to identify individual visitors.
We also use Google Tag Manager (GTM) to deploy and manage tags on our site; GTM itself does not collect personal information beyond what is needed to load tags.

You can opt out of Google Analytics without affecting how you use our site by installing Google’s opt-out add-on (link above) and/or adjusting your Cookie settings to disable analytics cookies.
6. International considerations
- Australia: We provide clear, timely notice about tracking technologies and how to control them.
- EEA/UK: We rely on consent for any non-essential cookies and provide an easy way to withdraw it, as required under the ePrivacy rules/ICO guidance.
- United States: We provide opt-out mechanisms for targeted advertising and, where required, treat certain cookie-based advertising as “sale”/“sharing” and honour GPC.
- Other regions (e.g., Brazil, Canada): We align with local consent/notice standards and rights frameworks (see our Privacy Policy for region-specific rights).
7. How we keep information from Cookies secure
We use administrative, technical and organisational measures to protect information collected via cookies/pixels and configure third-party tags to avoid collecting sensitive information, consistent with OAIC guidance.
